Application Fees

$25.00 for each application

Your application will be submitted once your fees have been paid.

If you have any questions or concerns, regarding the application or rules and requirements, before submitting an application, please call the Parks and Recreation office (801) 336-3900. We would be happy to help answer any questions you may have. When you are prepared to move forward with the application, please take the time to review the application, and provide as much information as possible. Be advised that application fees are non-refundable and payment is required at the time of submittal.

Parade Entry Details


Type of Entry:


  • Are you entered in any other Parade on July 4?
  • Will your entry have music?

    If so, what Type? *Required

  • (BE ACCURATE - for spacing at staging)

    (Including tow vehicle and trailer/float; or total length of all vehicles as part of entry)

  • If accepted, you will be required to provide 2 (two) adult Safety Monitors with reflective vests to walk the parade route with your entry

  • Pre-Parade Meeting

    If Selected, I or someone from my organization will attend the Pre-Parade Meeting on Monday, June 8, 2026 at 6pm in the Layton City Council Chamber (437 N Wasatch Dr, Layton)?

  • America250 Parade Eras

    In celebration of America250, the Liberty Days Parade will feature themed "eras" throughout the parade to highlight different periods of American hisotry. Participants are encouraged to align their entries with an era to enhance the overall experience.

    Which America250 era best fits your parade entry? (Select one)

  • Layton City is seeking featured "Signature Floats" to introduce each era in the parade. Selected entries will receive:

    • $3,000 stipend
    • Booth space at Liberty Days
    • Premier float placement and additional promotional opportunities

    Are you interested in being considered as a Signature Float?

    If yes, which era(s) are you interested in? (Select all that apply)

  • (Example: Entry will have cheerleaders performing cheers on a flatbed trailer; or Entry will have some people on a truck with walkers beside the truck; or Entry is a float with Miss Layton and escorts riding on float.)

  • (Example: Entry needs to be next to the other Layton High School entries; or Horse entry, please keep away from music; etc.)
