The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program offers free tax help to people who generally make $75,000 or less, persons with disabilities and limited English speaking taxpayers who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns. IRS-certified volunteers provide free a basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals.
Volunteer prepared taxes will be offered at the Layton City Center in the lower level conference room, located at 437 N Wasatch Drive, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM (no appointments, walk-in only) on the following days:
Tuesdays: 2/24, 3/10, 3/24, 4/14
Thursdays: 2/19, 3/5, 3/19, 4/2
