Stars and Strides Challenge

In honor of America's 250th anniversary, Layton City invites residents to join the Stars & Strides Challenge - a fun and flexible community fitness event that encourages everyone to stay active while celebrating our nation's milestone birthday.

Freedom Mail

Layton residents — especially our youth — are invited to write a letter to "America at 300" (the year 2076). Share your hopes, reflections, creativity, or artwork in a message that will be sealed in a community time capsule at the future Freedom's Memorial Plaza and opened on July 4, 2076.

Bake for the Brave

Join us in creating a special community cookbook celebrating America250! Share a favorite family dish, a cultural classic, a backyard BBQ favorite, or even a kid-chef creation! Each recipe helps tell Layton's story of tradition, unity, and gratitude for those who have defended our freedom.

Family Night at the Library

Join us March 20th, 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM, for a night of patriotic fun for the whole family! Click to learn more about this event.
