2024 will mark 100 years since the first film shot in Utah premiered. This film was called “The Covered Wagon” and was a silent film. In honor of this milestone in Utah history and the 50th Anniversary of the Utah Film Commission, formed in 1974, the Utah Film Commission has created a travelling exhibit celebrating the people, locations, and productions made in Utah. This exhibit will be at the Heritage Museum of Layton from June 19th to July 11th.
