Heritage Museum of Layton Spring Fling
The Heritage Museum of Layton is hosting an event celebrating the opening of three exhibits on March 27th, 2025. The event runs from 6-8pm. Please join us as we explore farming in Layton through From Harvest to Home, showcase miniatures and other tiny artifacts in Teeny Tiny Exhibit, and celebrate the achievements of the Shoreline Jr. High 8th Grade History Classes in their Women's History Month exhibition. Woods Cross Quiet Zone Reinstatement
The Federal Railroad Admiration (FRA) has granted approval of the joint waiver application for the North Salt Lake Main Street and Salt Lake city 1000 W railroad crossings. This waiver will allow the for the reinstatement of the Woods Cross Quiet Zone. The railroads typically have seven days to comply with the FRA directive to stop sounding the horns.
